- Accor Porto Centro
- Mercure Porto

We spent a night in this hotel in the week before Christmas.
The hotel is located in the centre of the shopping district of Porto. It is particularly close to the long-distance bus station and not far from the central train station. A taxi ride from the airport costs around 22-25 euros. The staff at the front desk were friendly...

The staff and the location was excellent. The room was very big, modern furniture and with every comfort. The bathroom is really big, light and very clean. Mini-bar in the room was filled with different kinds of beverages. Free internet and parking option. Not far from shopping area. Very good quality/price ratio.

Booked a special deal on the Accor website. Right by the Sao Bento train station, but an uphill walk. Rooms clean and fairly spacious, if a little bit dated in decor. The double beds are two singles pushed together. Good, fast free wifi. Only stayed one night, so didn't make use of the other facilities, but looks like a nice...

Excellent service. We had a nice diner in de hotels restaurant on new year eve . Spendid view on the city from the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was ok but could be more extended. The hotel is situated close to the historic center. Railway station and metro are on walking distance.

We booked the Mercure as it had good reviews and were not disappointed. We found when researching that Porto's hotels can be quite pricey, especially in the Ribera by the waterfront, and this was just as well located. Porto is not huge, so most sights are walkable. We rarely used the metro, and only used the bus to get out...

This hotel is located close to Sao Bento Station and Shopping street. Only thing you can not tell was the steep hill to come up to the hotel area from station (you can see the hotel from statin, right above). But it is only 5 min if you can walk steps and hill.
Hotel staff at check in are all...

This moderate hotel is in a pretty good location with a short walk to the train station, Ribeira and a slightly longer walk but very doable across the bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia. The hotel lobby was under some renovation and our room was pretty tiny but the beds were comfortable though a bit hard and the room was...
