Situated in Plaka - great area for tourists. Close to train and outdoor eateries. Walk around this area safely. This hotel is in a street not used by cars so it is quiet. Rooms are clean and and breakfast is adequate. Staff VERY helpful. Views of the Acropolis from the open-air breakfast room.

I found the Adonis Hotel very pleasant. MOST accommodations in Greece and Europe at large, do not meet American travelers standards. Once you accept this fact you should be more than comfortable. Perfectly reasonable for what it is. We found the staff friendly and helpful, clean rooms, and decent location. Nice balcony at night, and close to attractions. Breakfast like most of Europe is minimalist but fine. Didn't notice any noise up on the third floor

It was our first time in Greece and we came straight from the airport with very little knowledge of the city. The location was ideal close to buses and metro though we walked almost everywhere.
