Stayed in one of the studios here for 6 days in Sept 2008. Sougia is a great location for exploring the south coast of crete - the Samaria Gorge and Elafonsia are day trips. The studios are clean and tidy, well decorated and presented, and have a well equipped kitchen - they are in the centre of the town only 2 minutes walk to the beach. The owners who run the shop downstairs are really helpful (sort out boat trips for you if you ask) and the whole experience for great. more
