We picked this from Lonely planet island hopping guide. The rooms were clean and value for money but the lack of interest of the staff to anything plus the poor breakfast compared to the same price on Naxos where service was brilliant was disappointing. Mike and Kathy, Eltham, Australia

Our best friends booked for us a room at Aegli Hotel for their wedding in Syros. We were pleasantly surprised...Nice, clean rooms, very good location close to the harbour and great view too.

The Hotel changed the their politics after we left and charged us for not accepted services.

We received an outstanding service there (especially Dionisia at the front desk). The hotel and the room was very nice and spotless; quite a hidden gem! This hotel is a great find on the wonderful island of Syros. Located far enough away from the port to be quiet but with great views of the city from the balcony or the rooftop garden open to all guests. Rooms are on the small side but clean and relatively new. The hotel was affordable and romantic.
