Fiscardo was by far the prettiest part of Kefalonia that we visited. A beautiful and romantic little village, with a waterfront lined with restaurants overlooking the boats. The best restaurants we found were Alexis and Apagio. The Almyra was a nice quiet and clean hotel with a fantastic view, 10 mins walk from the beach or marina. Highly recommended. More

Hotel is run by a lady who claims to be a French teacher but has limited experience in Hotel management. We stayed at the Almyra in August 2010 and can highly recommend the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and polite. We read the trip advisor reviews before we left and feel some of the negative comments were misleading.
