“Excellent Taygetos resort”

Had two nights here this week and will certainly be going back. It is easily accessible from the Sparta-Gythio road but beautifully situated on the mountainside. A gem, hidden on the slopes of Mt Taygetos, one of the most beautiful places in Greece. Very lovely place, very romantic and quiet, lovely details, gorgeous gardens and very well looked after. This is a great place for kids too, playground and lots of space for running around and exploring.

A well-managed property with excellent service, and spacious and clean rooms with fantastic view. The location is also very good and offers many options for mountain related activities. Highly recommended for couples and families with kids.

It is true that Taygetos has amazing paths to explore and hidden beauties really worth seeing. Next time you must hike to the top of the mountain through E4 to see the pyramid, you will be amazed with the view from there. Thank you very very much for your review !!! “Mountain Resort high above Sparta”

A beautiful location, great cabin accommodations with cozy fireplace & kitchen. The restaurant was good and had live music one night which was great & filled with locals. The drive is long & steep but worth the stay.

Trekking around this stunning natural environment is calming and reviving. All you need is a good stay and we got much more than that. Everything was absolutely perfect and the people there were so helpful and cheerful. Hope we'll visit again soon!

When seeking accommodations in the southern Peloponnese, Ilaeira Mountain Resort far surpasses everything that you could possibly expect or hope for.
