This is one of those “hotels” that has an advantage on price and location, but fails to deliver on the basics. I’d tend to describe it as a “Guest House” rather than a hotel for reasons that will become clear – except that it’s more than twice what you’d expect to pay for such accommodation in the UK.

Me and my girlfriend stayed for only one night.
The smell on the hallway was bad, the smell in the room was worse and the bathroom was horrible. I think that there might be mold in the bathroom in our room (17).
The breakfast was nothing special at all.
If you want to spend around €100, do it somewhere else.

My worst hotel stay!.. Not even a status as Hostel would have made the price acceptable.
In the "closet" was left overs from the previous person staying there (maybe he couldnt wait to get out!)

A good budget hotel, however, sanitation and other facilities can be improved. Staff was very friendly and affiable. Very close to Train Station. Would love to visit again.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Skandia very much. We got very good service from friendly staff. The room was simple but very nice, new furniture. Situated just opposite the trainstation we could walk everywhere in no time! Emma & Calle

Serious noise problems from street. The local teenagers like to party outside the station opposite. Staff did not care about this, and offerred to move us to a room on the same side of the building (simply shrugged when asked how this would help).
The low price does not compensate for shrieks and howls all night long.

Huh, stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, it was dirty and had a loud street. Dont even recommend this to my worst enemy.
