I've staid in this hotel for the second time in June 2012 when visiting the Dreamhack Summer event. The Hotel is very convenient if you visit an event at Elmia, cause it's close. There's enough parking, rooms are nice and breakfast is very good. The only drawback is that the hotel bar closes quite early ;-)

Old-style hotel with a renovation being planned for the immidiate future. Good location for those attending a trade fair at "Elmia", otherwise far away from everything. Small, stuffy rooms with hardly any amenities. Will not stay here again until it has been completely renovated.

Close to Elmia fair but very far away from town. Limited choise of restaurants. Breakfast buffe is very nice with orange juice press and a big varaity of everything you need.

I guess the hotel do not need to try harder since they are situated next door to the Elmia Fair (www.elmia.se/en/) and gets guest anyway. A well appointed hotel with a good free gym and access to an excellent swimming pool facility (which is a little expensive and has quite poor opening hours, but is great!). This is the most outdated & worn Scandic hotel I have ever visited. Since I travel a bit in my line of work, I have quite a few to compare with.
