The hotel is well situated about 30km south of Kalmar and about 5 mins off the E22. The entrance along a gravel roadway leads to a beautiful clearing and the hotel is there looking like an old farmhouse surrounded by fields. Stufvenäs is a great place for conferences. The business facilities are good, and the surroundings are calm and peaceful. There is nothing to complain about where the rooms are concerned, but the standard is plain. The greatest thing about Stufvenäs is the food, combined with a good knowledge of wine. The whiskey bar is well assorted with some unusual labels.

If you want to relax and eat the best food imaginable this is the place for you. the Japanese spa is great and the food in the restaurant is simply brilliant. The service was also really great. The wine list is also something special.
