I was there in 1974 and I know it's been a long time, but I loved the place. Within walking distance of the main drag and next to the monstrous luxury hotels, you get the feeling of being a big shot at little shot prices. One of those "tucked away" gems that is close to the action.
The positive first: Decent location in a residential area, nice staff and a certain old-world charm. But the downsides: We experienced a run-down and dirty room, sheets were stained and breakfast was lousy. Budget travellers may find this hotel ok., but you can get much betters deals and standards than this in Gotheburg.
