We merely spent there one night and liked it very much. The room was very spacious and warm, the shared bathroom was very clean and the general atmosphere was very nice. Expensive, breakfast not included, kitchen closed for guests in the morning. Old building, a lot of flies, all rooms without bathroom. We paid 95 euro. There are two pretty rooms on top floor but the owner tell you that are always booked

The guesthouse is very clean with a shared bathroom in every floor. Upon arrival, the door is open, there's a cordless phone and the owner's number to call. We ended up staying here for two nights - felt right at home. The owner was very gracious, the rooms perfect (extra mattresses to accomodate our family of 5) and a nice breakfast in the morning. All in all - perfectly suited for resting before more sightseeing!

We had a lovely one night stay here. We had a very nice family room (good sized, with 4 very comfortable beds) on the ground floor with a beautiful garden and a running stream just outside our window. We received a friendly warm welcome and found the room to be of a good size, although it was a shame about the noisy floorboards and the consequent rattling of the furniture. Sulphur smelling shower as is common in Iceland. Had great black out blinds which was a real plus.

This was the most disappointing of the places we stayed in Iceland. To be fair, the bedroom was clean and had a nice view of the bay, and the kitchen and shared bathroom facilities were adequate (dated, with VERY 70s tiles and fittings everywhere but clean). Avoid if possible. It needs the bathrooms renovating , they are shabby and old and also to replace the old carpets. The breakfast room is too small for the guests to all have breakfast , you may need to wait. The rooms have no sinks and the rooms are poorly equipped, it does not have TV or radio. The cleaning...
