You really should't miss having breakfast at Electra, especially on a Sunday. This is the place to go to if you want to hear the talk of the town, obviously if you're familiar with the Maltese language, or to see the most interesting people around. It's a meeting place for people from all walks of life, and for the Gozitan... More

I have been privileged to have visited the Electra on 3 separate holidays this year. The home made fish soup and the apple pie are superb and could well give any 4 star restaurant a lesson in customer satisfaction. The hours which Joanne and Noel work (7am until midnight) show their responsibility and commitment both to their business and to... More

Enjoy the family and friends who surround the Electra guest house, the good value accommodation, the views from a front facing bedroom, the smart interiors in an old house, the generous English breakfasts, the great position in Marsalforn Bay, and understand all the good intentions . When the enthusiasm and kindness lead to overbooking and room reallocation we just saw... More

We stayed in an excellently remodelled room. Its also right by the little beach in Marsalforn and the bus station. Heartwarmingly friendly service by the very nice, authentic and friendly owners! It's also really good value. I would always go again.

Spent a week on Gozo learning to dive with Scuba King and as a single traveller was booked into what was described to me as a bed and breakfast. My thoughts were it sounds good value and I just need somewhere to sleep so I a not too bothered about the quality. As it turned out the setting and accommodation... More

Electra gives a great service, especially excellent home-made food. It is a newly refurbished guesthouse, and the refurbishment must have been costly because the place is really pleasant. The rooms with a seaview are a paradise, especially for couples or lone travellers. You can actually see the sea right in front of you from a spacious balcony. Electra is great... More

Electra is a small guesthouse perfectly situated on the Marsalforn strip, close to the bus stop. It is also a restaurant that specializes in pizza and traditional gozitan food. Electra's style reflects the price, in that you get what you pay for. The rooms are small and simple, but scrupulously clean and fairly modern. The sea-view rooms (€30 per person/night)... More

We were recommended this place for pizza and it was much better than anywhere else, though we only stuck to pizzas. We ate here a few times, as it was so good, sensibly priced and with interesting options. I couldn't comment on the other menu options though. The only bad point was the service was very slow, even compared to... More

The front rooms have a good view but are unsuitable for 3 persons (very small, both room and bathroom), the back rooms are bigger but they don't have air condition. Also, the view from the back rooms is not what you want to see being on vacation. In the front rooms, AC is available but costs an additional charge per... More
