Stayed here for two nights recently on the way back from Burgundy. Felt like I was at a Narita Airport Hotel (in Tokyo). Everything smelled like smoke, and the entire hotel looks straight from the early 80s. Don't do the breakfast buffet, either (EUR28/person) - it's a rip off. Stayed here one night, nice room, decent breakfast and meal at Le Jardin. The shower faucet was broken in the bathroom. Waited too long for luggage delivery. Seems to cater to business travellers and had little patience for North Americans.

Stayed here recently on business and was not disappointed. The hotel is centrally located, literally 50 metres from main shopping street and 5 minutes walk from cathedral. Hotel was superb in all respects except the price I paid should nave provided superman. All amenities were first class, Only meal I had was breakfast and it was more than adequate. In the centre of Luxembourg, close to Place d'Armes, Grand Ducal Palace, near by the Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Having last visited the hotel back in the mid-1980s it was good to see that the high standards of yesteryear are still practiced today. Staff are friendly yet professional and helpful. Me and my wife stayed only one night and was enchanted by the the hotel. Very good location, a few steps from the historic center. Attentive staff and a very good restaurant. Certainly would return. Our room was big, with a large bathroom. Everything was very clean.
