Right on the entrance to the walking area only, the Johann is charming with old world feelings, larger rooms well appointed and a great restaurant. Singers from the American Institute of Music put on shows at various times that are terrific.

I go to Graz two or three times a year and i stay at this hotel most of the times. I really love its atmosphere. The staff is friendly and efficient! The breakfest is delicious. The rooms are quiet ( but if you like it quite get the back rooms) and clean. Very good value for your money.

renovations in the 80's killed the charm of the bar and courtyard restaurant. Decor oddly put together, breakfast uninspiring. There's got to be better options in this beautiful city.
