Stayed at the hotel in May on a trip with my 23 year old daughter and requested two beds on my reservation. I was given a room with two twin beds pushed together and made up as a single bed. When I told the front desk about the situation, they told me that I could push the beds apart myself... More

A stay at the intercontinental Vienna allows you to combine the best of both worlds: The hotel lobby, bar and restaurants in the old viennoise style and the rooms and suites with modern equipment and excellent broadband internet connection. Also the sports facilities is excellent. Only drawback is the lack of a swimming pool. Please take some time for a... More

Fantastic location, nice rooms, very grand style older hotel. We really enjoyed our time in Vienna and also staying at the InterContinental. The rooms were nice, small but very nicely done and comfortable. We had a lovely view over the park. It was only a short walk to the major tourist attractions (Spanish Riding school, shopping street, palace etc). Vienna... More

I stayed at the hotel for only one night and so my comments should be read with that in mind. The check in process was a little slow but otherwise fine. The rooms are a little dated and the temperature control was very poor. The room was far too warm with no way of effectively cooling it down. This temperature... More

Dear Rodsussexuk, Thank you very much for your review. First and foremost I would like to apologize for the problems with your room temperature. Surely we should have been able to adjust the temperature in your room to your liking. I was also disappointed to read that we failed to deliver the room service menu to your room. I can... More

Great location for the Metro. The station is just over the road from the hotel, and it is a short walk to the centre of the city. We stayed here from 22nd thru to 26th december and pre booked the christmas eve dinner which we found dissapointing cost of 95 euros per person the wines were of poor quality and... More

Staying on the club floor turned out to be such a good idea! Not only was there a comfortable spot to lounge starting at 6:30 in the morning if afflicted by jet lag. . . but there were unlimited espressos and lattes plus delicious food all day long. Brigit and Doris were both welcoming hostesses as well as knowledgeable concierges.... More

In cities like Vienna you have plenty of choice. Whenever I go I choose to stay at the IC. The location is good, well accessible by road or public transport, the staff at the reception and the restaurants are good and there is a great gym. The rooms are good though nothing special. Although the wireless works very well I... More

Dear Travel12370, Thank you for your concise review. I particularly appreciate you mentioning our wonderful Quo Vadis gym, which is appreciated by many of our guests. Of course, during the warmer time of the year one can also go for a leisurely jog in beautiful Stadtpark (city park), which is just across from the hotel. Continued safe travels; we hope... More

The IC Wien is not that attractive a building when approaching from the street. However, based on a November trip that took me from Vienna to Budapest to Prague and back to Vienna, where I used the ICs in all three cities, the IC Wien was without doubt the leader of the pack. My check-in was as professional as I... More

We booked the hotel for one night stay and was told by the staff that the breakfast starts from 6:30 am. While it was my fault for assuming that the hotel stay had included breakfast, I did not expect to get charged for 60 euros for a very average breakfast for two people. Other boutique hotels in the area offer... More

Dear Ny4nae, Thank you very much for your review. I am sorry that you did not enjoy our breakfast buffet, which is generally considered to be among the best in the city. May I suggest that you consider one of our Club Lounge rooms for your next stay, which includes access to our Club Lounge, as well as a complimentary... More
