Our arrival in Vienna was smooth, thanks to CAT+CAB, the airport train with pre-booked taxi service directly to our hotel. The hotel accommodated us with an early check-in, which helped with our jet lag after an early morning arrival. The Mercure Wien Zentrum is in a great location for exploring Vienna, just a few steps from the Schwedenplatz‎ tram and... More

The hotel is in the centre of the city, close to Stephensdom and the opera house. It was a great place to be based to explore all over the city. We were given a room in the other building just up the road from the main hotel. After one night we asked to be moved in to the main hotel... More

Dear guest, Thank you for posting your kind words about our hotel. To hear that you would recommend our hotel is honoring us. Our hotel is equipped with two different buildings, something for every taste. Feel the classic viennese charme in our “Classic” Building with own reception and breakfast room or enjoy a more modern style in our other building... More

This hotel was right in center of Vienna. You can walk to many attractions in less than 15 mins. Excellent location! Metro station was only 5 mintues away. Room was a bit too small and walls were quite thin. If you are looking for quiet place, this might not be the right one. If you are after great location hotel,... More

Hotel is nice and just near St. Stephen´s Cathedral, metro and bus to the airport! Receptionists are very friendly. Rooms are not big, but designed and it´s better to look photos of the hotel, especially bathroom before, not to complain latter :) More

This Hotel is ideal if you are looking for an accomodatione close to the center and Stephanplatz. It is not a luxurious hotel but cheap clean and comfortable. People working in Mercure is friendly and helpful. The only defect is that the hotel could be a bit noisy during the night. It is closed to some bars and pubs and... More

Good location , safe , clean , good buffet breakfast (see below). Worst feature - the noise from outside - no sleep till after 0330 (I am not a light sleeper) Room small and needed a refurb. Breakfast good but expensive . You pay for the location. More

I don't like to give bad review but I like to be honest. First the staffs are great and helpful. No reflection on them. The room however smell like smoke and stuffy and the noise from the below the building was ridiculous. It was going on til 3am in the morning. The people was so loud that they woke us... More

We booked a room in the classic building or second part of the hotel which is up the street and a flight of outdoor stairs. This building has it's own reception and breakfast room. The rooms were dated but comfortable. The walls were thin so neighbours could be heard talking and using the bathroom. We were on the 3rd floor... More

We chose this hotel because of its location - it is literally 5 minutes from the underground train, around the corner from my favourite shops: L'Occitane, The Body Shop, and Lush. Hidden in the next street is a beautiful clock "Der Anker" which we saw everyday, but did not know that it played music and had characters moving around, until... More
