I was in Vienna for a wedding and the whole wedding party stayed at Aviano. The service was impeccable, the rooms were very pretty, and the location was fantastic. Place was clean, room was pretty small (we happen to like small), double bed was comfortable. We had a perfect two nights there. Pension Aviano is located in the middle of Stefansdom (cathedral with Stephansplatz U3 station), Wiener Staatsoper (opera house with Karlsplatz traffic hub), Hofsburg (palace), Kärntnerstraße and Graben. Stayed for 2 nights in Nov 2011 as part of our honeymoon. Check in was quick and efficient. Room wasn't ready (we were quite early) but they stored our bags and moved them to our room when it was ready before we returned. We loved staying here during our first visit to Vienna. Our room was large, clean and comfortable and overlooked the main shopping area.
