The hotel is 2 mins walk from the main station so is very convenient. The reception / lobby is big and bustling and it gives a good impression. Good points: "Cheap" for Norway, great lobby, good options at the buffet, comfortable beds, good service staff. I spent some days in 2012 in First Hotel at Drammen, and it was disapointing. Hotell is in centrall part of town, just behind Train Station, but room was so old and smelled smoke that it was not worth price. Altough stuff was very nice and kind, and rom was clean , but there are better places in Drammen

Stayed on one of the first warm spring day in Drammen with temperatur of 20 degrees.Location very good rigth in the center of Drammen and very close to the railway station. I have been there many times on conferances and restaurant visit + "julebord". I have also sleept there one time. All in all I think it's ok. The rooms are not "new" but clean. It's closed to the train station and Flytoget to OSL or NSB to Torp/Ryanair.
