Namsos is a typical small Norwegian town located quite far away from everything. Probably not a place which takes your breath away, but their new hotel, the "Rica Rock" does. Don't be frightened by the locals' description of guitar shaped beds and extreme rock and roll decor. There really isn't much along those lines. The room was very comfortable, with good beds and big toilet, and the breakfast was excellent, with the delicious fishes from Norway. The rock and roll theme was very cool, also. Great surprise for such a small city.

Already at the reception, the staff was perfectly helpful. The room on the eighth floor was great. Finally, the breakfast buffet was abundant, and also here the staff were highly service-minded.

Clean rooms, good beds, in a hotel with very good location. Restaurant a bit understaffed, but they were all very friendly and accommodating.
