On the Stavanger harbour front, this hotel is superbly located. Check in is smooth and efficient and the room allocated to me was nice, the on,t down side being the heating switch was broken and stuck on cold. My main gripe is the restaurant menu was limited to errrr 1 dish and the usual array of cuts of meat and... More

Well located hotel, the room was overlooking main road so a little noisy at night, with excessive light from street lighting. Friendly helpful staff. A good breakfast buffet. Evening meal buffet was average. Overall a good hotel for a overnight business trip. More

This is a medium size hotel, in the city centre of Stavanger. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall, the staff was no more than ok, and the service level was average. Make sure you get a room that doesn't face the street in front of the hotel, as it can be quite noisy. Breakfast was served in... More

Having spent a weekend in Stavanger previously I was not looking to the further ordeal, however I was surprisingly impressed. Either my expectations were so low or Stavanger has improved dramtically. What a fabulous time I had. My main complaints earlier were about graffiti in the town and the beggars. The hotel did not boast it's improvements and the residents... More

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel during a business trip. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location. If you got room facing the harbour, it will be fantastic. All interesting places and the good restaurants are just in the walking distance from the hotel. The hotel itself is a old hotel with old and small rooms.... More

I stayed as a business traveler in August 2011. I wanted to say that I think much of my complaints about this hotel relate to cultural difference and not so much the hotel itself. Overall, the hotel was clean and staff was very curtious. The location is perfect if you are a tourist as pretty much everything is within walking... More

Dear Jenn5508, Thank you for your time posting your review on your recent stay with us. We are sorry that you ended up in a room with no ironing facilities - however, on your next visit, please ask us for a room with those facilities, nearly all of rooms have this. We would also like to mention that since 1st... More

This hotel is located on the harbor adjacent to the old part of the city that preserves older wooden buildings. Ask for a room on the harbor side (the only down side is when the cruise ships come in to port and you suddenly look out your window and into the window of a ship!). It's very clean and comfortable... More

Family (3 kids) fitted OK in single and connected double room. View on the harbor (or a cruise ship). All is OK, except for the location that is outstanding. More

This trip involved business and pleasure as my wife joind me for a long weekend. We both enjoyed the easy going feeling of the hotel and surrounding area. The hotel is right downtown and overlooks the peaceful harbour. Within two minutes you can walk to a selection of restaurants and bars both quite and lively depending upon your taste. More
