The guesthouse was very clean warm and the hosts very friendly, the rooms were of an exellent standard as was the decor and bed linen. Breakfast was outstanding with everything you could wanted cooked or continental. Wish our stay had been longer. Would go back and recommend and recommend to other.

We were a group of ramblers doing a coastal walk and we enjoyed very much our restful stay in Gyves house. the bedrooms were very comfortable and our hosts friendly and helpful. The home made bread and the tasty bacon from 'happy pigs' were definitely a plus. Highly recommendable.

a friendly host serves brilliant breakfast, the rooms are warm!!! in cold England, the beds a dream... only 50 metres from the beach, 3 minutes walk to the city centre and "The marine pub", which serves the best food in Eastbourne just around the corner

From arrival to departure our hosts made us feel really welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The place was spotless and had a very good feeling in the house in general. Peaceful and tranquil. We found Gyves house by accident......... and so glad we did. Very friendly people and the house is very clean. The breakfasts were very good. Andrew was very helpful. We'll be recomending this guest house to family and friends..... and we'll be returning.
