Gorgeous Victorian house. Very welcoming hosts (Steve & Debbie), lovely bright and spacious room (No. 1). Small-ish en-suite, but fully functional although as hubby likes a bath would have been an issue if we had stayed for more than 2 nights as there was only a shower. Small window for breakfast, 8.30am - 9.000am and then a long wait for... More

Hi Carol. Thank you for taking the time to post a review about Bryn Derwen. I only wish that you had let us know during your stay that Paul preferred a bath as a few steps walk from your room there is a separate private bathroom which he could have used. Sorry you felt that it was a long wait... More

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing break (apart from walking around the Orme and along the Estuary path to Conwy!!!) at the Bryn Derwen. Steve and Debbie were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived with a drink and home made welsh cakes while our bags were taken to our room, nothing... More

We visited this hotel at the weekend booked in for the Victorian Extravaganza. We arrived early about 11.00 a.m. as wanted to park the car for the week end - we just let Deb know we had arrived but she informed us our room was ready which was wonderful. The room was wonderful - we booked the room with a... More

My wife and I spent three wonderful nights in this establishment. The hosts are a delightful couple who could not be more helpful. Our room was very clean and pleasant with a high ceiling and large bay window overlooking the quiet Abbey Rd. The furniture and soft furnishings were of excellent quality. The guest house has a decent car park... More

Arrived stressed, tired and burnt out, left feeling refreshed, relaxed and very, very content. There's something about Llandudno that oozes tranquillity and this hotel plays a big part in this. The areas so peaceful and the hosts are so friendly and welcoming that you can't help but chill out. The roaring fire and a nightcap completes the picture. Great breakfast... More

We arrived on a very cold Good Friday to a roaring fire and a warm welcome from Debbie. Within 15 minutes we were booked into our room and sat in front of the fire with a welcome cup of tea and Welsh cake. This is our third visit to the Bryn Derwen our room was to high spec for furnishings... More

Arrived to a warm coal fire burning, given welsh cakes and a pot of tea whilst our luggage was taken to our room (Room 3 with sitting area and rich red and gold colours). We had an excellent stay. Hotel on a nice, quiet street only a short walk from the main high street and the two beaches. Hotel has parking which can be difficult in Llandudno.
