Stayed for a second time last Wednesday and were just as impressed as previously! Spotlessly clean, water hot and staff so friendly. Breakfast was so flentiful and freshly cooked we didn't need to eat again till 6.30 pm! All in all another excellent stay in a competitively priced and very well run hotel - thank you

Stayed one night 26 April Slight mix up over the rooms but was put right immediately so no issues. The room was lovely (if slightly cramped because one bed virtually blocked the toilet door) and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with a very good choice of cooked food.

We stayed one Saturday night, to attend a family celebration, and this hotel met our needs very well. The room was clean and with all facilities, the price was good value, there was plenty of parking, service was attentive, the hotel was quiet at night, and breakfast was fine. I prefer a small individual hotel to large chains and am... More

We found the hotel was inconveniently located on the edge of the old town and to get to the hotel you are required to drive past the hotel then through part of the old town before you can come back along Hitchin road to enter the Hotel. The room had an ensuite the size a wardrobe and the walls were... More

Great value, cosy family run hotel. I slept like a log. It was full of character, not like the big hotel chains. A lovely breakfast cooked to a turn, served by friendly staff. The room had everything I wanted in it even a toothbrush and shaving kit. Just a short walk to the old town which had plenty of pubs,... More

Spotlessly clean room was well equipped if a bit small. Staff very friendly. i paid £60.00 for a double good value for money. Very good breakfast selection my only critisism sausage was hard. Unfortunately we had a couple next door who kept us awake through the night. Not hotels fault tried banging on wall but did'nt work.
