This small and very friendly hotel was a brilliant place to stay near Sandbanks in Dorset. Extremely good value for money. Very clean and fresh and very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Loch Fyne restaurant under hotel so you did not have to wander far to eat.

Think we got the smallest room they offered, as you opened the door you had to push it past the bed, it actually hit the bed. However it was clean, comfortable came with plenty of teas for the morning & biscuits. All we really needed for an overnight stay. I'd use them again.

Booking for one night" . The first impressions of the room were pleasant , good quality quilt and feather pillows, but there were signs of wrest and tear on the bedside cabinets which let the room down. A d the fact that the loo appeared not to work, the fact was it filled slow that my bladder filled quicker than... More

The location of this hotel is convenient for those using the Channel ferries. Very popular with diners which is not surprising as the food is excellent. Our room was number 8, on the top floor over looking the car park. It is a spacious room and nicely decorated with a light and airy feel. The bed was very comfortable. There... More

The bedrooms are a bit small but ok as we were only staying for 2 nights. The restaurant downstairs noise does filter up. It is a very busy restaurant and popular for seafood. Having said that, I'd go if I was nearby just for breakfast. This isn't somewhere that you buffet yourself to a greasy pile up so expect to... More

Arrived late evening and didn't realise hotel entrance is shared with restaurant- staff came out and asked if we were OK and checked us in & found us a table in the restaurant. Rooms aren't large but adequate with enough space to walk round the bed, use the OK shower room etc. Good selection of teas and coffees although a... More

Nothing to add to the current reviews. The food is excellent and we found the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu is delightful and the food is freshly prepared. We also had lunch with family and it was a delight - quite expensive but value for for money.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights in August. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. The room we had was small for a double but was well presented and room servicing was fine. “New England” style décor very effective. The in- house Loch Fyne restaurant was superb although I would say that the hotel staff... More
