Loved the champagne bar and the appetisers which were imaginative and delicious. We chose the lunch menu and had a super meal with local produce, beautifully served and presented. A very knowledgeable restaurant manager who clearly had a passion for the food and accompanying drinks. My companion was a Head Chef who has rather exacting standards but who was delighted... More

I've been wanting to try the Raby Hunt for a while but could never get booked when phoning up a few days in advance so we booked a while ago and boy was it worth it! Great welcome, good selection of unusual non alcoholic drinks & a good wine list. Food was FANTASTIC - well presented and really really tasty... More

We came here for lunch after reading about having a Michelin star. We were not disappointed. Very high quality delicious tasting food. We both had the tasting menu and tried a number of small, tasty dishes. The price wasn't too bad either. We'll defo be back. A very nice treat!

4 of us went for a significant birthday. We opted for the tasting menu, which was scrumptious, and met with a warm welcome and excellent advice regarding the wine cellar. The restaurant is relatively small and has a cosy' intimate feel. Each course was accompanied by a short description and was beautifully presented. The food itself was delightful, the favourite amongst... More

I went here with a couple of people around a year ago. I very much enjoyed it. The starter was devilishly moreish. I think it was lamb as a starter and from memory there was a particularly delicious black olive puree and celeriac with it. It was very complex and worked as a course. I did let one of my... More

We had a wonderful time at the Inn, choosing the tasting menu with matching wines and to ensure we had a relaxed evening, stayed the night too. It was just one of those evenings when everything went right - gorgeous food, friendly, knowledgeable staff and enough other diners to make it buzzy but not over-crowded. Our succession of small dishes... More

A treat for our wedding anniversary, the Raby Hunt was truly exceptional. A sober, calm, elegant decor. Charming, efficient and helpful staff. The food was really excellent, we had scallops, pigeon, bream and duck, all of them delicious. The rice pudding with mulled fruit a little disappointing, the flavours and textures delicious, but not a great deal of fruit for... More

Stayed overnight as was eating in the restaurant (Food fab). Room very comfortable - Nice and warm - No traffic noise - Breakfast very good - Eggs cooked just the way I requested. My husband had a full cooked breakfast which was very good. Great coffee. Staff exceptional.

We had the most wonderful meal here. We tried the Taster Menu and it was absoutely divine. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was out of this world. I hope to return very soon. They have a Michelin Star which is very impressive seeing as the Chef is self taught. Highly reccomended.

The food is cooked perfectly and the atmosphere is very intimate. We had the ox cheek and duck to start both delicious followed by venison and pork, could not fault the food. We choose cheese for dessert, perfect end to the meal.
