I was working on the garrison and i stayed here for 6 months was pleasant enough and the sheets and towels were changed daily ,breakfast was average ... There was not allways a member of staff on hand or was difficult to locate one when needed.

I stayed in Colchester to see my Daughter it was very good for money I paid . I would recommend it anybody if your want a nice cheap Hotel ! Very close to the town centre all need really if that's what your looking for .
Only stay here if everywhere else is full the rooms are lost in a time warp although they are clean. The breakfast once it arrived wasn't worth the wait and despite being described as a full English it definatley wasn't . on a plus point the owner was friendly and I have stayed in worse
I found my room(11) very clean and comfortable. In my room there were tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV(only 5 channels but I do not spend my time watching TV when on holiday!)The bedding and towels were changed daily and the room was kept tydy and hoovered every day too.The cooked breakfast etc was very well served. The guesthouse...

This could be such a gem of a B&B, but sadly it's just tired and lacklustre. It is located centrally in Colchester which is its one redeeming feature and it does have secure parking, although the shutters don't go up till 9am, so don't bank on an early start! The room I stayed in was a twin; very basic furnishings,...

This is an older place (well, being a 15th-century building that's a bit of an understatement) a few minutes from both the centre of Colchester and the Colchester town railway station (note, this is a side-station, not the main Colchester station, so you need to switch trains at the main station). No doubt the sort of people who expect the...
