Just back from a delicious Sunday Lunch. All fresh produce cooked to perfection. Carvery 3 roasts, good choice of veg and home made Yorkshire Puds. Sweet trolley amazing again all home made, lots of choice, light as a feather and were asked if we wanted seconds! Been many times over the years and once again not disappointed. Bit off the... More

We stayed at Craigburn on Saturday 11th August 2012. We arrived at about 4pm and were greated with a lovely pot of tea and some cakes, it was a fantastic start to a wonderful stay. We ate in the resturant which was lovely the service and quality was faultless.

We went for afternoon tea to celebrate a relative's 80th birthday. We were welcomed warmly and seated immediately on a table with lovely views. The service was extremely attentive throughout without being pestered. The afternoon tea was served swiftly, beginning with a selection of delicious sandwiches and a pot of tea. Then came scones with butter, raspberry jam and cream.... More

A special Sunday lunch with a special friend and my son. On arriving the farm yard was full of cars and cosidering how remote it is, this was surprising to us. We must have been last to arrive and our table was beautifully set for us. 1 menu provided to view, even though more were to the side, bit of... More

They had catered for large numbers for mothers day lunches and we suffered for that in the evening when we went for dinner. They had obviously run out of several items. No mash potatoes, frozen yorkshire pudding and frozen roast potatoes. All in all disappointed with meal, as mentioned above obviously the best of food was served at lunch time.... More
