A great place to stay on the way back from Scotland. Got in late and very tired from travelling from Inverness and they quickly got us sorted into our room for the night. Excellent furnishings and decor etc. A good night sleep WAS guaranteed! And the breakfast was excellent in the morning too!

Spent 1 night here, to meet with friends and extend a wedding weekend. Food was great, staff friendly, there was a small problem with the heating, but staff assisted immediately. Great place to stay, party, eat and not have to drive home too early in the morning. THANK YOU :)

Spent the weekend in Carlisle and this hotel was perfect for our weekend away. It was about 20 mins to walk into the centre,but it was a nice walk and this did not bother us. The room was really nice and as always the breakfast was very high quality!!

Stayed one night only while visiting Carlisle. Staff are very friendly and helpful and go the extra mile to make you welcome and comfortable. Perfect for city centre, bus stop outside hotel to city centre. Staff helpful and very friendleythe rooms and all public areas were very clean . Breakfast in the Lakeland Gate wasa little disappointing with self service for your bacon and eggs etc. (Canteen style) see my feedback on the Lakeland Gate.

Just wanted to say how great the staff are at this premier inn we had a power cut while we where there and the staff kept is informed and safe. Great rooms very clean will stay here again. Again a big thank you to Eilidh Moran team leader who got a stain off my dress nothing was too much trouble.
