Ian and Mourna are wonderful hosts who understand the hospitality business. From the moment you walk through the door of this lovely property in the Old Town with great views across the bay, you feel welcomed. Lovely accommodation (try to get rooms with the view) and superb breakfasts.

A very homely b&b in the old town with lovely hosts, sea views and great selection for breakfast. Tall Storeys is within walking distance for any attraction in Scarborough. We had a really relaxing time and are going back in July. Craig McVie, Edinburgh.

Needed somewhere central for a nostalgic trip to Scarborough. Literally a 100 yards back from the harbour and lifeboat house, just below the castle in the south bay. Tall Storeys was a perfect fit from the second my wife and I arrived. We parked straight outside and were checked in in seconds. A lovely cup of tea and a bun... More

If you want beautiful accommodation, excellent breakfasts and friendly, helpful hosts, go to Tall Storeys. The beds are really comfortable, the facilities great and the location is really convenient to explore every part of Scarborough. Just returned from a one night's stay and will definitely return. Rita and Nigel, Driffield.

Very near the castle and only 5 mins walk from the foreshore. Room 2 gave great sea views and had a lovely four poster bed. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast fantastic and great variety.

My wife and I had a very pleasant couple of days in Scarborough, staying at the Tall Storeys. It is exceptionally well located, on the hill, near the castle, a short walk down to the harbour - and also a short walk to the main shopping area - peaceful yet near the hustle and bustle of the foreshore. Scarborough is... More

My girlfriend and I recently visited this nice little place as we love travelling to Scarborough and wanted to try somewhere new. It was our first time here, and certainly won't be the last. I will break the review into parts, summary then covering location, building, room and the staff. Its a couple who run it, who told us they... More

The host Ian could not do enough for us. We had a good nights sleep in this lovely place. The view of the harbour was worth coming all of this way. A good night was followed by a good breakfast and Ian telling us what was worth seeing in the area. This was definitly a place I will return again... More

We stayed there in September for one night. Unbeknown to us we arrived on the motor cycle weekend. So we were lucky to get this room. The hosts were very friendly as well as very informative, recommending a new Italian ( Antons) restaurant by the harbour, it was good too. Neither of us had been to Scarborough, so the information...
