The rob Roy was perfect for my needs. Very near to the Ferries and the Tunnel. I found the hotel clean and tidy. Attentive owners. With an interest in their guests. The breakfast was cooked to order and set me up for the day.A bonus was the free off road parking.

The hotel is clean and tidy. Well appointed for the ferries and the tunnel. The breakfast was well prepared (to order) and was very tasty. The owners were attentive and helpful. A bonus is car parking. This is off road and was included in the price.

Back for a 2nd time at the Rob Roy. Once Again sarah and Jim could not be more welcoming and friendly, always going out of there way to accommodate us. Would highly recommend. Will be staying there again on my next visit to folkestone when visiting my son.

I booked into the Rob Roy for two nights, as I wanted to attend a conference at the university and I used customer reviews on Trip Advisor as guidance. I found that the high ratings were accurate, as were the descriptive commendations. A warm and attentive welcome greeted me on arrival, followed by a modern and very clean room (Room... More

Just back from our 3rd stay in the RobRoy. Sarah and Jim really could not be more helpful and friendly. Sarah provided plates, etc at short notice so that we could eat a take-away in the lounge, meaning the children could sleep undisturbed, while Jim went out of his way to get the wifi running on our laptop when it... welcoming, friendly and just perfect - dog friendly too. Recommended The Guildhall in Folkstone for dinner which was lovely. Jim and Sarah couldn't do enough to make us welcome before we headed for the Eurotunnel in the morning. Having had a horror story last year in Folkestone this was the start to our holiday and was lovely. Many thanks -... More

We stayed here with our little dog in the downstairs room with access to a lovely garden. Sarah was so welcoming and helpful and cooked a great breakfast (even made me fried bread) very convenient for the Eurotunnel so a must from now on!!
