Weekend in February. Not great temperaturs outside and not centrally heated in our bedroom. Just a small convector heater. Freezing in Breakfast room , plates and food also very cold. Not at all matching recent reviews. apart from the beautiful view from our bedroom window.

Had a great time. Had not booked walk in off street, was made so welcome felt part of the family. Went for one night stayed for two going back in May cant wait. Room was lovely view was out off this world and breakfast kept me going all day. Think i put on a stone. Thanks for every thing.xx

Had an excellent 3 night break over New Year. Me and My friend were amazed by every thing. Suzys food was excellent and then she would serve it with such smiles. Nother was too much for the family. Stayed here on the weekend because I could not get a room at my usaul haunt. Visit Dunoon very regular ans have never been to the West End, the staff from the Argyll recommended the place for one night. I had a nice double room at the top of the hotel with sea views, the hotel owner was very accommodating... More

Barry & Suzie are great, the hotel is in a lovely quiet spot, spectacular views. There is not very much to do in Dunoon but plenty of walks. Good value for money.

I was staying on business and found the hotel to be clean (my main priority) friendly, lovely food (the lasagne was excellent). I wished I was on hols as I oculd have made this a holiday base. I've recommended it for fellow colleagues who will be working in Dunoon shortly.
