We spent a very nice weekend at Holling Grange. It is a very nice place to stay and to eat with wonderful People, indeed Dawn and Cedric are doing the maximum in order to insure a nice stay and perfect dinners and it is a success :-). We stayed in the "Chocolat" cottage which was perfectly decorated in sober and... More

We spent the most perfect long weekend at Cedric and Dawn's little piece of heaven. We stayed with two other couples in the "Chocolat" cottage, which was perfectly equipped and decorated in sober yet stylish tones. The restoration work carried out in the cottages is amazing! The views from the cottages were incredibly beautiful and the nearby village of Hay-on-Wye... More

Holling Grange really does have everything you could wish for in terms of a perfect stay. Cedric and Dawn are warm and charming hosts; our one-bedroom cottage, Bleu et Gris, was a delight and the surrounding views wonderful. The beautiful restaurant, Toi et Moi, where Cedric cooks in his open-plan kitchen, and Dawn's next-door shop, The Shed, are both filled... More

We have just returned home from a fabulous 2 weeks spent at Holling Grange. My husband, my mother and I stayed in Cerise Cottage, and it was a wonderful experience. Cedric and Dawn are warm and friendly, caring yet unobtrusive - always eager to meet any request, and a fountain of knowledge and suggestions of places to visit in the... More

My partner and I have just spent a second delightful weekend at Holling Grange. Our accommodation was stylish, comfortable and well equipped and Dawn and Cedric were very welcoming and keen to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We also had the pleasure of indulging ourselves in Cedric's newly opened restaurant Toi et Moi. In spite of the wet weather... More

My partner and I were invited to a birthday celebration at Holling Grange. There were 4 couples who spent three nights in the cottages. The location was quite remote but the views are gorgeous and the welcome was very pleasant. As other reviewers have said Dawn and Cedric put great effort into making your stay successful and enjoyable. The accommodation... More

New Year at the idyllic location of Holling Grange is an experience not to be missed. We welcomed in 2012 with Cedric, Dawn and the good company of their other guests for our four night stay. We dined on the most beautifully prepared cuisine every night with a very special Celebration Menu on 31st December. This began with wine tasting and... More

We've had a truly special time here at Holling Grange. It was lovely to have the experience of self-catering accommodation with the owners on-site to help out with questions. The setting is perfect, and it's a good location for exploring the Brecon National Park, and surrounding area. Our converted barn was spotlessly clean, and had some wonderful homely touches. The... Cedric and Dawn ensured that we had the perfect anniversay weekend ever. The cottage was lovely, it felt like staying in your very own luxurious home away from home. The sheets, the kitchen, the little attention to details was wonderful. There are lots of lovely treks, walks and hikes in the gorgeous countryside nearby. And the VERY best part was... More
