I stay at the hotel regularly and love it there, whilst the rooms may not be the most up to date it is very clean and extremely comfortable. The food is great and very good value as are the rooms and the staff are very friendly and obliging. Its location is perfect just across from Warrington Bank Quay train station

Having been a guest in The Patten Arms every week for six months and having moved on I can thoroughly recommend this hotel for value, friendliness and a genuine sense of welcome form all the staff. They are obliging and will go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Harry Cowan

I imagine this was a lovely hotel around a decade ago. However, it is very much in the budget range and the staff are lovely and friendly which is a major plus point. We had a couple of wedding guests stay here and they said it was great so we checked it out and they are right. Food is good and rooms are too for the price. Staff are really friendly and accomodating. I would recommend this place for sure. It's not 5 star but for a night's saty it's great!
