We went to a wedding there and witnessed the proprietor threaten to 'smash the face in' of one of the guests. In front of the children as well, truly shocking and an upsetting experience for them. The owner is a complete crook who ruined my friend's beautiful wedding by the following methods: Charging for water on top of B&B charges £25 per tent per night camping, with no shower, no toilet, no other access to water 1 person was charged £40 for the privilege of sleeping on a mattress on the floor £20 for 'a few'... We had a family room on two floors. At arrival, the very friendly owners brought tea and scones and the room was already warm and cosy. The gardens are beautiful and there are plenty of dogs and cats for the kids to play with. Breakfast was a full cooked English breakfast.

We wanted a night away in a peaceful and refreshing location and it doesn't get much better than Mount Tavy Cottage. We had a real nice holiday at Graham's and Joanna's cottage. The cottage is a very peaceful and spacious place, lovely formed as a part of the Dartmoor National park.
