We stayed at the Inn On The Wye from 14th-16th June 2013. The Inn is ideally situated for touring the Ross on Wye/Forest of Dean area and very close to Symonds Yat. If you go to Symonds Yat you must visit the top car park and go and see the peregrines nesting - viewed through the RSPB's telescopes - so... More

a very friendly inn, the staff are very good, we stayed for two nights the bed was a bit uncomfortable the food a little expensive but a great place to use as a base to see other places. In the dinning room the views across the rolling hills are out of this world .

We had a family meal in the restaurant and found the food plentiful and delicious . We had two waitresses and both were very friendly and efficient . The restaurant was very clean and comfortable with beautiful views across rolling the rolling hills of the Wye Valley. We decided to give it a try for a change of scenery and... More

Firstly, I must stress that we did'nt stay here, we just ate. It was last Sunday so we called in for a carvery. All appeared well as we were shown to our table and then to the carvery. The meat portions were small, roast spuds appeared to have been deep fried, and the rest of the veg was steamed until... More

'Hic!' Manager having a few drinks at lunchtime? I am sure Nicola would love to sit down with a bottle of white wine over lunch however she's usually too busy for such luxuries. She is, however, diabetic and particularly when busy, her sugar levels can drop suddenly giving an odd impression. She keeps Lucozade to hand and has become so... More

This was a last minute booking for my birthday (New Years Day). The hotel is situated in a stunning spot totally surrounded by countryside with amazing views. The hotel is very picturesque, traditional, welcoming, relaxing. We found the staff very helpful, friendly, polite. We had one of the chalet rooms at the back of the main hotel. It was a... More

We booked a last minute room for our motorcycle tour around the Wye Valley. We had a very warm and friendly welcome on arrival despite being a little later than we had expected to be. Booking a table for our meal was no problem. We had one of the chalet rooms to the rear. The furniture was good solid wood... More

We stayed in one of the chalets at the back of the hotel. I have to say we were very scared after reading some of the reviews in here but our fears were unfounded. Previous reviews had talked about how dirty the place was but the chalets have had a nice refurbishment and were clean and comfortable. Location was pretty... More

Came here with another couple just for drinks and had dinner. Was surprised to find the pub empty for a Friday tea time and really stayed that way till we left. We were the only 4 in the restaurant and I don't know why! All the food we ordered was really nice, if I had a negative it would be... More

I arrived late at night after having some difficulty finding it. Upon arrival they were quite pleasant even though I arrived after check-in closed. They even made me food at that late hour. Breakfast in the morning was superb! Very high quality full english breakfast and just the right size. Well done!
