Owners John and Liz are wonderfully easy-going, respectful and kind-hearted hosts with an unwavering enthusiasm and affection for the local area and its many treasures! They gave us great ideas about how to make the best of our long weekend and made a scruffy young couple feel like we were family come to stay for easter! The house itself has... More

We have just returned from our third stay at Granton House. John and Liz are such lovely, welcoming people who never fail to deliver. From tea and cake on arrival in their beautiful garden to the ample selection of breakfast on offer you cannot go wrong. Look forward to our next stay.

I thoroughly recommend this delightful bed and breakfast in the Wye Valley. Liz and John provide every comfort for their guests, comfy beds, yummy breakfast, delightful gardens and loads of local info. Their attention to detail even extended to providing a torch to help guide us back from the local pub where we had a great meal.

We returned to Granton House for a week this May with our two young children and stayed in the Coach House self-catering holiday let within the grounds of Granton House. This was our second stay in the Coach House, and fourth time staying at Granton House (having previously stayed in the B&B on two occasions). This year we took along... More

We stayed for two nights, over a weekend, in May, as one of our stops on the Wye Valley Walk. Welcoming hosts, Liz and John gave us tea in the wonderful garden and booked us a meal at the Cross Keys, a ten-minute walk away. Lovely bedroom and comfortable sitting room for guests. Breakfast included rhubarb compote (Rhubarb from the... More
