I use this hotel about every 6 weeks and have always found it to be well worth the money and always in good condition. They have a lot of refurbished rooms which are worth asking for as they are some of the best I've stayed in (and my son used to work for Hilton so I've stayed in a few... More

We have been coming for 10 years now and I've never written a review. now I've found the internet I feel I should. My wife and myself are now in our late 60's and have brought our children and now their children here periodically over that time. The hotel has changed a lot with the times all for the better!!... We stayed over New Year and concur with what has been said by other guests. The entertainment was disappointing and only hope the management take the feedback on-board when planning the program for New Year 2012. Don't make the same mistakes twice. This hotel is great for entertaining the kids and that's why we went. Our room was one of... More

We have visited this hotel 3 to 4 times a year for the last 10 years but our last few stays have been disappointing. On our most recent trip it was nice to see the bar and reception area had been renovated but the hotel was only a quarter full and we were booked in to a premier sea view... More

Arrived for a family party this weekend. Room was lovely when we first arrived, but we found it a little warm so turned off all the heating...however it just got hotter and hotter as the weekend progressed. It was like a sauna - absolutely unbearable! Also was disappointed with the "restaurant" as it felt more like a canteen on a... More

Our family has visited the Dalmeny for over 30 years, so another New year package was never a second thought. We arrived and it was business as usual, reception looks great and the staff were too.our room was in the old part of the building which needs updating.(we did'nt mind this as we knew the rooms from previous visits), and... We returned yesterday from a weekend at the Dalmeny and as somebdy who was born and brought up in the area and knew previously of the Dalmeny as one of the best hotels if not the best hotel in St.Annes I am surprised in the decline in standard of the hotel to where it is now. Having arrived with another... More

I am very sorry to hear of your disappointment in your recent visit to the hotel and apologise for the unsatisfactory service you received. We did have some staffing issues on the day in question, which I hope you will see as an isolated incident and take into consideration the positive comments we have received previously. Please feel free to... More

After visiting the Dalmeny pretty much ever year throughout my childhood and having lots of great memories I thought, a few years on I would pay a visit with my current partner whilst enjoying a day out in St Annes and have a drink in the patio cafe. It was nice to see how some things have progressed (the cavery... More

Thank you for your recent comments. The Clock Tower Dalmeny Hotel sign with missing letters has been on the maintenance list for some time now and much debated among the maintenance team who have the task of prioritising jobs. The debate centres around the cost of hiring a crane & erecting scaffolding to repair the clock and replace the signage.... More

We last visited the Dalmeny 5 years ago for my husband's birthday and loved it. We decided to visit again as it was his birthday and the first one as a married couple, so wanted somewhere a bit special. W were unsure if we'd have a good a time as we had fab memories before but we had a better... More
