The pub had good write ups but was a bit disappointing. The room was nice but no heating in the bathroom at all (coldest march weekend ever) and we had to ask them to turn it on in the bedroom, maybe they were trying to save money! Had a great stay here with our friends. The bedrooms are immaculate and well furnished. The restaurant is very good and staff very friendly and helpful. Portion sizes were mentioned in a previous review and I thought they were good size. Ideally located to visit Beauleigh Motor Museum, Bucklers Hard and Lymington.

Stayed here during a weekend break in the New Forest. Nice pub with good food and pleasant clean rooms and friendly staff. We stayed here for just one night and it was okay. We thought we'd try something different and were a little disappointed. We stayed for a weekend break (two nights) and the place could not have been better. If the restaurant hadn't been so good, we might have regretted being a bit too far out of Lymington itself, but in the event it was perfect.

In a lovely New Forest location near Lymington this inn looks promising, but set your Tom Tom to find it.
