We stay here one night every year and again the service, rooms & breakfast were all of a high quality. Enjoyed some more banter with the owner on arrival and at breakfast and went on our merry way happy to have been again.

Very, clean, comfortable and welcoming. We only had breakfast and no evening meals however the food was well presented, plenty of it and not swimming in grease. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable and we would definitely return.

I was lured by the reviews about this guest house but have to say we were pretty disappointed. Unless you are of more senior years or a contractor I wouldn't expect the Mountsorrell to live up to expectations. We have just returned from our second visit to The Mountsorrel and would recommend this guest house to anyone. The rooms are clean, comfy and warm. The breakfasts are cooked to order and are great. I spent one night here on buisiness and booked the superior room. The room was of a good size with a separate lounge area and spotlessly clean. I didn't have an evening meal, but the breakfast was really good. I would definitely stay here again.
