This hotel was excellent in every way. The staff were so helpful and friendly.Delicious food,Comfortable rooms. The hotel itself was a bit out of the way but well sign posted. I would recommend it to anyone and would go again.

Not often been charged £130 per night for a Three Star Hotel but with accommodation on the Islands limited you are charged accordingly. After reading the reviews on this place I was looking forward to my dinner The waiting staff were pleasant enough but the food was a bit of a disappointment to be honest and left me wondering if I had visited while the normal chefs were away????

Just returned from a 4 day business trip to Lerwick Shetland. Have used this hotel many times over the last few years, good clean rooms, great food, try the fish and also try the local bottled beer called Auld Rock.

The plaque at the door says 3*, there are numerous poorer establishments with 4* ratings. The situation is quirky but very typical of properties in Lerwick. It is a warm friendly and well appointed hotel. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The decor is traditional but well maintained. Food is excellent. Well worth a visit.

I'm repeating earlier reviews.Bathrooms updated and great in the main.On going mystery as to why there is no hot water in hand basins, good shower. Bedrooms so need refurbished.
