This hotel does not warrant four stars although the staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked to stay for a long weekend. The restaurant couldn't cope and we had to wait over an hour for our meal on the Friday night and 45 minutes for our breakfast on the Saturday morning. The plumbing in the bathroom was laughable. “Romantic rendezvous”

Finally got round to visiting this wonderful place and we weren't disappointed !!! We were the only diners in the restaurant so we had a lovely fine dining experience, it's got lots of character and was a pleasure just enjoying a g & t and delicious food..... Definitely recommend and will be making another visit to maybe have afternoon tea... More

“Gastro Experience”

We have celebrated our son's wedding at Holdsworth House as well as having the pleasure of a wonderful Sunday Lunch and other dining experiences, You always receive a good Yorkshire welcome,all the staff are very,very good as are all the facilities.You do not know what you are missing if you do not visit this establishment.

“Wonderful intimate evening”

Came to Holdsworth House for an anniversary mini getaway. We had no complaints about anything. Excellent food, lovely location, attentive staff (there was a wedding on when we got here so this made me nervous but had no need to worry), everything we wanted. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back again.

We always enjoy our stays at Holdsworth House. Will be going again next week. Their special offers are amazing. Recommended a friend and she loved it. The food is excellent and so are the staff and there is lots to do near by. Sitting in the gardens with a drink is probably the best way to spend the afternoon though.
