Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
Travelodge Halifax garners appreciation for its prime location near the town and The Piece Hall, offering guests the convenience of ample parking and a variety of nearby dining options. The rooms, while described as basic, are generally commended for their cleanliness. Enthusiastic mentions of staff members like Joy and Michelle point to the hotel's commendable service, though the decor is noted to lack charm. While the hotel is valued for its affordability, some guests have noted additional parking fees and room quality concerns.

I was delighted to of met Michelle at reception welcoming me to the travelodge. I would highly recommend this hotel for all accommodations. Really enjoyed my stay. It was favourite place so far as my father is unable to walk and Michelle went above and beyond and relocated our room to the ground floor so it was accessible for my father. Highly recommended.

It was our first time in a travelodge . This hotel is in a great location & an iconic building . Parking was cheap considering it's only 15 minute walk to town centre . Train station & bus station same sort of distance. Staff were very helpful. The reason I have rated this hotel as I have was simply for size of room / bathroom & the very , very hard bed which made sleep quite difficult. Beds are a very personal thing but this one was way too firm for me .

Just a flying visit overnight, but everything was good, couldn't have been better. Great local eateries as well. Had some great Thai food next door at the Thai Corner restaurant, Breakfast at the Engine room 2 doors down was great.

We were in an accessibility room. Low bath but not wet room. Room 4. Very scruffy. Curtains not on hooks no table by bed so had to put cup of tea on floor. Beds very narrow, stained sheets. No plugs by bed to charge phone. Door too heavy to open had to rely on husband to open door. Very disappointing.
