We stayed here numerous times for weekend family gateaway. The location is perfect for shopping, good restaurants and visiting Newcastle. Great and comfortable bed. Excellent heated swimming pool. Free parking. Staffs are polite and friendly. Lovely buffet breakfast with variety selection. Overall, we always find this hotel ideal for a weekend getaway and would recommend to all my friends.

My partner and I stayed here as a last minute thing, booking on the day following a visit to Newcastle. We were impressed - average price, staff were welcoming, spa was fab, rooms were clean and spacious and well kitted out, the location was perfect for what we wanted. We stayed for one night at this Marriott which is located minutes from the A1 and on the doorstep of the Metro Centre. A ten – fifteen minute drive gets you into Newcastle city centre. Friendly reception staff. Well-appointed room – although the view was of an IKEA car park. Typical hotel buffet breakfast but nice enough
