Stayed here when visiting our son in Newcastle. Staff all very friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable, and fabulous breakfast at Taybarns. Absolute value for money and would recommend to a friend.

Comfy, clean rooms with a superb breakfast offering a huge selection of tasty food (especially the sausages!) Staff were very helpful & polite - offering over and above what I'd expect from a 'budget' hotel.

Stayed here on a stopover as it was near Metro centre. Hotel clean and staff extremely friendly. We didn't have breakfast here as we'd had a meal at Taybarns on night of arrival. We stayed here on our way to a wedding. Rooms are comfortable with all the ameneties you need. We had breakfast included when we booked the hotel which is a good idea as you get a better deal than paying on arrival. Breakfast was excelent with more than enough choice. Great hotel, staff helpful and chatty. stayed with 2 kids(4 and 7) room big - double, single and put up bed. would recommend. room clean, beds comfy. tea and coffee facilities - would like biscuits!!!

This hotel is perfect for exploring the North East! It's very close to the metro centre, about 2-5 mins drive, so a plethora of places to eat. The attached Taybarns is great too. No road noise, but there was a bit more noise from other floors and rooms than I expected - hence the 4 overall, but I wouldn't hesitate... More
