Booked the Kings Head Hotel simply for it's good location for my work the following day. Wouldn't have stayed here out of choice(after seeing the reviews)but it was booked for us as close to the memorial hall where we were going that night. Very shabby room,floor length mirror but leaning on the floor?only one cup so had to get another one,forgot shampoo but thought no problem there will be some mini bottles/sachets but no. Had a one night stay good value, outside as stated by others showing its age, but inside very pleasant owner. Rooms old coach house style but ours had new bed and fittings, bed was exceptionally comfortable, great night’s sleep which high on my list of priorities.

what a brilliant hotel.The staff were brilliant,as was the food and the rooms. A lovely touch was tea and scones completely free. If we are in this part of the country again this is for sure the first place we would go back to.The village was lovely and we were sorry that our stay was only for the one night.

We cannot thank Elaine and the staff enough, we had our wedding reception there and so happy with the outcome.. they were friendly and very helpful. The food was great as was the accommodation great. We enjoyed and so did our guest. Thank you so much
