Great B&B, fantastic room, great bed (I'm really fussy about beds!) super breakfast. Owners are very keen to make your stay a good one! Welcoming tea/coffee on the patio overlooking the beautiful garden (very unusal weather for a sept/oct weekend in Scotland!) Would definitely be back if I was visiting Callander again. More

In preparing to review Westerton I read several of the most recent reviews and quickly realized that I can't add anything except to say that all the compliments are well deserved, particularly those referring to the charming and helpful hosts, Lesley and Mike. More

From the moment of our first arrival, when Lesley and Mike, both met us at the door, we were treated to the best two nights of accommodation that we had on our two week trip to Scotland. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable with a very large and modern bathroom--all was immaculate. It was easy to tell that this... More

We recently stayed 5 nights at The Westerton and loved every minute of it! October is near the end of the season but though the weather was a little chilly our stay at the Westerton was warm in every way! We booked the Blue Room and with its ENORMOUS size, view of the garden, huge windows, oversize chairs for relaxing,... More

We have never posted a review before, but feel so strongly that Westerton merits one that we have. Having been impressed with our stay three years ago this is the first time that we have booked a break to fit in with availability of a room: normally we decide where to go and then find accommodation. The room (blue) is... More

We have just spent 2 nights at the Westerton. It is the best guest accommodation we have found in Scotland. Mike and Lesley give a sincere and full welcome, and provide for all your holiday needs - great rooms, great food, and great night's sleep. It is like holidaying with friends. Still the best. More

We stayed in the Green room at the end of July. It was raining in Callander when we arrived. The innkeepers were great and even helped us with our luggage. The house is lovely and our room couldn't have been nicer. Very large room with lots of windows. Breakfast each day was delicious and Mike and Lesley gave us several... More

We stayed here in July for 2 nights and will definately return. Westerton is faultless. Lesley and Mike are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble and their knowledge of the local area (and beyond) is second to none. We stayed in the Green Room which was lovely -it isn't a problem that this room doesn't have views of the... More

We had the Blue Room for a two night stay in Callander. What a wonderful room and the owners are superb. You will not meet nicer people that Mike and Leslie. They go out of their way to make sure your experience at their B & B is the best in Scotland. Their home is spotless and beautiful; the Blue... More

Booked a 2 night stay on a whim, and were lucky enough to get a cancellation at the westerton. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Michael and lesley. We were in the gold room, one of 3 rooms in the b&b. A good sized room with dressing table wardrobe, tv/dvd and tea making facilities. Very comfortable large king size... More
