We stayed here for a couple of nights and the experience was okay - nothing really wrong with it, but nothing really great either. Our room was spacious and pleasantly decorated but the bathroom could definitely do with a makeover - especially the dusty artificial fern in the corner and the window that wouldn't close. We stayed for three nights at the Knowe and had a great time there. The breakfast was excellent, the room was really comfortable and had good options (fridge, dvd player, etc...) Our hosts were really nice and went out of their way to help my husband with his digital camera problem. I would definitely recommend the Knowe! more

My partner and i stayed at the knowe guest house in callander for 1 night. It was excellent. The large house was decorated nice and modern. We stayed in the WOODLANDS room. It was lovely. What a lovely little guesthouse this is! Set just off Callander's main street, this is such a find that I almost didn't write a review on it for fear of others finding this gem!
