We stayed for two nights in the magic carpet suite and we couldn't fault it. Our room was lovingly furnished with attention to detail and it was a great size. We were also amply provided for with gorgeous food in our suite. Sue, our host, couldn't be more accommodating and nothing was too much trouble, from lifts to the station... More

We returned home this afternoon from a wonderful 3night stay in the Magic Carpet room. What a fabulous time. Our daughter adored the magic of Broad Oak and really didn't want to return home. We had the most yummy food topped up in our fridge and two lovely hosts. Our room was perfect. We really can not wait to return... More

My husband and I booked for two nights stay at the broad oak Bed and breakfast (this was not long enough). Upon arrival we where greeted warmly by our hosts Sue, Mike and Beau and they couldn’t have made us feel more at home. I must also add the fact that I am 8 months pregnant and Sue and Mike... More

We stayed in The Magic Carpet room for three nights over the Easter weekend. I can endorse all the great things previous reviewers have said. The accomadation was pefect for us and completely unique to any B&B we have stayed in before. Sue is a fantastic host and made the whole weekend magical for our four year-old daughter. The magical... We stayed at the Broad Oak last spring for a weekend break and we've just booked to go back again. I think this is the only B&B I've ever returned to for a second visit. Where to start? The ever attentive and wonderfully friendly Sue. She constantly went out of her way to be helpful, including picking us up from... More

I feel like Tolkien's description of Rivendell perfectly echoes my thoughts about Broad Oak: "That house was, as Bilbo had long ago reported, 'a perfect house, whether you like food or sleep, or story-telling or singing, or just sitting and thinking best, or a pleasant mixture of them all.' Merely to be there was a cure for weariness, fear and... More

If you are looking for a quiet New Forest hideaway with a touch of luxury - Broad Oaks is the place. Tucked away at the top of a private road which gives way to Forest tracks, the situation is perfect for a relaxing break. Sue and Mike, our hosts for the week, could not have been more helpful, providing a... More

My husband booked this special place for our short stay in Brockenhurst during half term week. We had a little difficulty finding it at first but soon found where we had gone wrong and were greeted with a warm welcome from Sue who proceeded to show us to our room "The Princess & the Pea", complete with fairylights, an amazing... Broad Oak is on a quiet, private road called Broadlands Road. There is a beautiful oak tree with a door. Inside it are treasures delivered by the local witch. On the private road there are lots of trees filled with birds and squirrels! The owners Sue and Mike were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with very tasty food!... More
