Brilliant stay at the pines. Surpassed all expectations. Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Great location and all rooms were tastefully done. Can't wait to go back and in the process of booking again.

had an excellent long weekend in the 2 bed cottage, log fire was worth the small extra cost. very relaxing surroundings and made welcome by Yannick, a true hotelier. A small but personal hotel, would certainly use again. quality ingredients for breakfast.

We visited The Pines for the second time during March 2013 and again were very impressed with the service and comfort. Lovely location and welcoming host. Loved the home made breads and jams at breakfast! Will be going back in summer for sure!

Stayed here for two nights with friends. Rooms were excellent, beds comfortable and overall ambience excellent. Breakfast was well presented and the reception by Yannick was superb. Would recommend it to anyone looking to stay near Bideford.

Checked the Internet for a last minute accommodation booking near Bideford. Reviews were excellent and the experience was as good if not better than the reviews indicated. Such a pleasing place with quality of presentation as well as excellent service. Stayed in the cottage with our dog, staff very friendly would highly recommend and would love to visit again the food was amazing and unlike most hotel we visited on the jubilee weekend and they didn't put the price up thank you again mr and mrs Absolom
