Very disappointing stay here. The hotel is tired and run down and needs some serious cleaning and maintenance both inside and outside. The window frames in our bedroom were shabby with paint peeling off them, you couldn't see out of the windows they were so dirty. Booked the Tuften Arms on a weekend deal, The hotel was lovely, food excellent and the service was just superb,anything was possible, even when I asked do you sell Newcastl brown ale (Dog) which there said no but the hotel sent someone to buy some for the local shop, what more can you ask for.
